    What are Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a highly effective technique for the direct delivery of various substances into the middle layer (dermis) of the skin. It is recognized by the medical community, having been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2003. It is a non-invasive solution for addressing a wide range of aesthetic concerns.

    Τι είναι οι Μεσοθεραπείες

It offers impressive and natural results in rejuvenation, tightening, and the treatment of localized fat on the face and body. It restores the skin’s lost elasticity, resulting in a clear, healthy, and firm complexion.

The application of mesotherapy is performed either with the most advanced Dermapen technique (painless micro-injections) or with the classic injectable method. The goal is to stimulate the body through microscopic injuries, prompting it to respond by producing collagen and fibrous tissue, which are essential structural and supportive elements of the skin.

    Mesotherapy with nutrients

Mesotherapy involves stimulating the middle layer of the skin through micro-injuries, while simultaneously infusing a nourishing substance.

The results are remarkable. It rejuvenates the face, neck, décolleté, and hands, significantly reduces wrinkles, and smooths out stretch marks thanks to deep hydration. It provides firming, antioxidant protection, and defense against environmental damage. When combined with substances that help reduce unwanted localized fat, it activates the process of fat breakdown (lipolysis) and helps treat cellulite.

The nourishing substances for mesotherapy used in her clinic by Plastic Surgeon G. Chorti are:

    • Simple mesotherapy with a “cocktail” of hyaluronic acid and vitamins. We use innovative non-cross-linked hyaluronic products.
    • Autologous PRP mesotherapy, in which 1–2 vials of your own blood are used. After centrifugation in our clinic, we obtain the plasma, enrich it with nutrients, and inject it during the mesotherapy session.
    • Stem cell mesotherapy which is the most modern and most powerful non-surgical facial treatment and is performed exclusively by plastic surgeons.

These are internationally tested, completely safe treatments using certified materials. There is no risk of causing irreversible conditions. With their application, each individual overcomes the effects of aging. If they are discontinued, from that point onward, the natural aging process of the skin resumes.

The duration of a mesotherapy session is approximately 30 minutes. It is performed in the clinic, does not require anesthesia, and a topical anesthetic cream is used to minimize any discomfort from the “pricking” or “burning” sensation. Possible side effects, depending on the skin type, may include mild bruising that subsides, itching, redness, and localized swelling.

Return to daily activities is immediate. The results vary depending on the type of mesotherapy selected, but they are always effective and impressive.

    Dermapen technique

The Dermapen technique used at the clinic of Plastic Surgeon G. Chorti has the advantage of eliminating the possibility of error, which—even in the most experienced hands—may occur when the procedure is performed manually. The device incorporates 12 very fine needles that, depending on the setting, create tiny channels at a depth of 0.25 to 1.5 mm beneath the skin. The body perceives these as micro-injuries and stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin to repair them. Through the micro-channels created by microneedling, growth factors are infused, triggering the production and concentration of collagen and elastin.
