Body Spider Veins – What it is

Spider veins on the buttocks and calves are among the most common aesthetic concerns affecting both women and men.
The Nd Yang laser used by Plastic Surgeon G. Horti is specifically designed for the elimination of spider veins on the legs (thighs, calves) up to 4 mm, as well as small blue veins. It is completely safe and does not cause marks or burns. The laser light is selectively absorbed by the blood in the vessels, and due to the generated heat, the vessel contracts. The surrounding tissues and skin are not affected.
The laser is targeted and precise, does not cause thrombosis, whereas injectable treatments depend heavily on the vascular surgeon’s skill, as there is always a risk of puncturing a vessel and causing a hematoma.
Before treatment, a diagnostic vascular Doppler is required so the doctor can determine whether there is any underlying condition or prescribe supportive medication if necessary.
The treatment involves a process that is ideally started in October. A total of 3–5 sessions are performed depending on the severity of the condition, with intervals of approximately 1.5 months between sessions.
The results are permanent, and the treated veins do not reappear.
