Calf Liposculpting – What it is

    Λιπογλυπτική γάμπας - Τι είναι

Calf liposculpting is performed by removing fat from one area of the calf where it is in excess and transferring it to another area that requires enhancement. If there is no excess fat, fat collected from another part of the body can be used.

This fat, taken from the patient’s own body (autologous), is purified from blood, fluids, and other tissue residues, which must be removed. Since it comes from the same individual, it is completely safe and carries no risk of allergic reactions.

The use of the revolutionary VASER LIPO liposuction system, uniquely available in Northern Greece at the clinic of Plastic Surgeon Georgia Horti, allows for the extraction of liquid, pure fat without blood or tissue residues (not fat clusters), making it immediately suitable for liposculpting applications.

Calf liposculpting is performed through very small incisions of approximately 3 mm, through which fat is injected into the areas that need enhancement.

The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia, resulting in a more symmetrical appearance of the calf.

A compression stocking is worn for approximately 15 days afterward.
