Liposculpting – What it is

Liposculpting is a modern plastic surgery technique in which various areas of the face and body are reshaped to improve appearance, achieve firmer skin, lift sagging areas, and reduce the effects of aging.
For liposculpting, fat collected from areas of the body where it is in excess (abdomen, waist, buttocks) is utilized, especially if the same patient has undergone abdominoplasty or liposuction.
The patient’s own fat (autologous), once collected, is purified from impurities
of blood, fluids, or other tissues, which must be removed.
At the clinic of Plastic Surgeon Georgia Horti, liposculpting is performed depending on the treatment area, either through very small 3 mm incisions or with tiny injections. The fat is injected into areas of the face and body that have lost volume, restoring their natural fullness using material derived from the patient’s own body, which is completely safe and free from allergic reactions.
