Conventional Liposuction – What it is

Conventional liposuction is performed using a special cannula inserted under the skin through a very small incision in the targeted area. The cannula is connected to a suction device that gradually removes excess fat.
The duration of the procedure ranges from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the extent of the areas from which fat is removed. If the area is localized, the procedure is performed under local anesthesia and no hospital stay is required. General anesthesia may be needed if the liposuction is extensive or combined with other procedures, in which case an overnight stay may be necessary.
Any discomfort or pain is managed with standard painkillers. Return to daily activities typically occurs within 2–3 days.
After the procedure, swelling and bruising may appear, which gradually subside within a week. A compression garment (corset) around the treated area is necessary for approximately one month to control swelling and help the skin adapt to its new contour.
Liposuction can be combined with LPG Endermologie for cellulite treatment, achieving excellent results in skin tightening.
After Liposuction
After the liposuction procedure, the use of special elastic garments or a compression corset is required to reduce fluid accumulation and help shape your new body contours. Return to daily activities can begin gradually from the first day after the procedure.
The results are long-term; however, potential changes in body weight or a future pregnancy may affect the outcome. Special instruments are used during the procedure.
