Revolutionary VASER Lipo – What it is

The procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia. It lasts from 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. No hospital stay is required, and the patient can return to daily activities almost immediately.

Before liposuction is performed on any selected area with excess fat, the VASER ultrasound device is used to heat the area, melting the fat locally. The key feature of this technique is that it targets only fat, without damaging blood vessels or surrounding tissues. By transforming fat from a solid into a liquid state, it allows the use of very small cannulas through which the liquefied fat flows out. This fat is extremely pure, without blood residues, and does not cause bruising or hematomas.

Even more important for the final aesthetic result is that removing fat in liquid form prevents the appearance of “orange peel” skin, avoiding depressions in areas where fat is removed and irregularities in adjacent areas where fat remains.

All other liposuction techniques use larger cannulas to extract solid fat cells. The larger size of the cannula and the solid state of the fat—even in experienced hands—can often damage blood vessels and tissues, resulting in postoperative swelling and bruising.

The fat removed in liquid form, being very pure and free from blood residues, can also be used—if desired—for liposculpting. This means transferring fat to areas of the face and body that have lost volume, such as the cheekbones, breasts, and hands, achieving excellent results by naturally restoring fullness and firmness to the skin.
