Hemangiomas – Treatment
Hemangiomas, or red moles, are a concentration of a large number of capillary blood vessels in the skin, resulting in an intense red color in the affected area.

They usually appear at birth and tend to regress by adolescence. Larger hemangiomas may persist throughout life.
In the past, various treatment methods were attempted without satisfactory results. In recent years, modern laser technologies have shown excellent outcomes.
Plastic Surgeon G. Chorti uses the unique KTP Laser Aura, specifically designed for the treatment of facial hemangiomas, including very large ones. It is applied with absolute safety and extensive experience, even in children from the age of 4, delivering excellent results. The hemangioma is treated with the laser either entirely or in sections if it is extensive, and gradually fades over the next 2–3 months. In some cases, repetition of the procedure may be necessary to eliminate any remaining traces.
The treatment lasts 10–30 minutes. It is performed in the clinic without anesthesia, and the patient can return immediately to their daily activities.
