Labiaplasty – What it is

Aging and pregnancy can alter the appearance of the vulva and may affect a woman’s sexual life.

Labiaplasty is the solution for aesthetic deformities of the labia. It is performed when, due to laxity, the labia minora extend below the labia majora, or when they are naturally very small. For aesthetic reasons, they can be reduced through tissue removal or augmented through fat transfer. With particular care around the clitoris and urethra, the vulva is restored to its natural shape and size.

Labiaplasty is performed by Plastic Surgeon G. Horti in the operating room under local anesthesia.

Return to daily activities is possible the day after the procedure, while full recovery is completed within 10 days.

The results are long-lasting.
